If you want laugh out loud, take a "Half Ticket"

People lied to ask for help. They know very well people don't help them if they tell the truth. In the Half ticket, Vijay said, "If I tell the truth, you don't help me." It happens. Vijay (Kishore Kumar) is useless for his father even He spoils his father's work. He strikes in the college, and after being suspended from college, he made father's factory worker to strike. Vijay prank continues to bother all day. Vijay's father wants him to be treated by a psychologist but not succeed.
Vijay leaves the house due to discord between father and son. He left without money, so he took a Half ticket for Jabalpur to Bombay. He all of a sudden meets Raja Babu (Pran). Raja Babu is a diamond thief. He put a diamond in Vijay's pocket to save himself from the police. Vijay is unaware of having a diamond. He meets with Rajnidevi (Madhubala) and loves her. On the other side, Raja Babu keeps searching for him. Did he succeed or Vijay arrogate the diamond?

The half ticket is a Comedy movie which forces you to smile at most of the moment. The Screenplay is well-lined and concise. The story is good, according to the year 1962. Screenplay Writer successfully used his creativity to add two scenes.
Kalidas did the direction. He did his job very well. The film does not lose grip at any moment, even you laughing out loud after every scene. Half Ticket is full of adventure. Manorama rides a crane successfully in the film which is a disappointing point of the film. How can a person ride a crane who does not know the feature of crane?
Editing was excellent. Background Music and song were also good and fit in the movie. Once you listen to the song, you too start hum, "Chill Chill Chilla Ke". Song also spreads a smile on your face. Another song "Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe" was filmed on Kishore Kumar and Pran. Kishore Kumar was dressed as a female. Music director Salil Choudhury wanted Lata Mangeshkar to sing this song. Unfortunately, she was outside of the city resulting in Kishore Kumar sing both female and male Hindi voices. This song became more natural as Kishore Kumar sang this song according to the situation.

Now we come to the acting, no doubt Kishore Kumar is a legend, but I want to add something. If you haven't seen any film of Kishore Kumar, that means you haven't seen a Hindi film till now.
Kishore Kumar was a master of comedy. Madhubala and Pran also acted well. Helen performed an item song and looked beautiful. Shammi played the role of Raja Babu's Mistress made a good impression even after having fewer scenes. Pradeep Kumar had a special appearance but worth to notice. The film is worth watching again and again in any era.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan; Poor Story with excellent Direction and Acting
